Rocky Mountain National Park Engagement Photography|Matt & Andrea
Anytime we get the chance to shoot in Colorado we jump on it. Its one of our favorite places for obvious reasons. Matt and Andrea came up with a few dream locations for their engagement shoot which highlighted their city, their home life, and their adventurous side. There is no better way to spend an afternoon than capturing such an amazing couple. We started their engagement session at Cheesman Park to get a little bit of a formal feel and capture some great images. The columns and greenery were an amazing background and being able to shoot in the shade was key as we were hoping to catch sunset up in the mountains. From their we went back to their Denver home to get a more casual look. Once we finished up at the house we headed north to Rocky Mountain National Park for the remainder of their engagement session. What engagement photography would be finished without some adventure! Its our favorite way to capture a couple. Once in the park we headed up to Bear Lake and then Dream Lake for some more imagery. As we walked the rain started but it didn’t scare us off like it did much of the crowd. I love when a bit of rain comes through because it gives the sky a chance to light up with color from the moisture in the air. As the sun went down the colors started to pop and we were blessed with a beautiful vibrant sunset overlooking the Rockies. The mountains are beautiful but these two made a scene that you couldn’t look away from. We are so excited for Matt and Andrea and feel blessed that we were able to capture their Rocky Mountain National Park engagement shoot.
